The Mishkan Museum in Ein Harod, Israel, hosts a closing event on January 29th at the exhibit New York / New Work, which features works by Jewish Art Salon members.
This symposium, in memory of Ahuva Ben Aharon, is done in conjunction with Midreshet Ein Hanatziv, Niggun Nashim and Oranim College. The New York / New Work exhibition will serve as the springboard for a discourse on femininity and masculinity in contemporary Jewish art, and Rabbi Yitzchak Ben David will discuss those qualities in Talmudic literature.
The exhibit was curated by Ein Harod’s curator Dvora Liss and independent curator David Sperber. More info on the exhibit, which was originally featured at the 2015 Jerusalem Biennale of Jewish Art, here.
