“Auschwitz” by @ruth__schreiber . Kristallnacht, which many this year commemorate tonight, marked the attacks on Jews in Germany Nov 9-10, the precursor of the Holocaust.
The artist’s grandfather was gassed in Auschwitz on August 28th 1942: his name appears on a list researched and reprinted by Serge Klarsfeld and archived at @yadvashem .

"Urim & Tumim 7", a collaboration by @yona_verwer and @ktklaraaa . Exhibited at "On The Consequences of Hate Speech III", an exhibition curated by Robin Atlas and Nancy Current.
This artwork represents the anti-dote to hate speech: a direct connection with a higher source.
The Urim and Tumim were part of a biblical tool of prophecy known as “The Breastplate of Judgment.” In Biblical times, during war and national crisis, this breastplate was worn and consulted by the Jewish High Priest. Upon meditation, individual letters would sparkle to display prophetic messages: text messages from above. This device can guide us to a more elevated way of living / speaking.
