Shangri-la will become a cultural destination for its duration in Long Island City, inviting collaborations between dancers, performance and visual artists, poets, and musicians. It is an experimental lab operating outside of the confines of a white cube or museum. Much like the grass roots vibe of the festival, the roster of artists keeps growing as well as events soon to be announced.
