A Symposium on the topic of Kettubot will take place Friday February 10, 2017 at the Mishkan Museum in Ein Harod.
This symposium is in conjunction with Here is your Ketubbah an exhibition of some of the finest ketubbot from the collection of the Museum of Art, Ein Harod. View Kettubot from the 17-19th centuries from Iran, Afganistan, India and Italy together with contemporary Jewish art that challenges the gender disparity of this de facto feminist document.
This exhibition, curated by Dvora Liss, and on view until late April 2017, features contemporary artwork by two Jewish Art Salon members, Andi Arnovitz and Ken Goldman, in dialog with traditional ketubbot.
