Jewish Art Salon member Lenore Cohen organized Homelands, a group show of work from 15 international artists. Each brings a unique perspective mediating on one of the defining moments of Jewish History: The disbanding of Jewish communities throughout the Muslim world.
Homelands has been invited to participate as one of 25 exhibits at the upcoming Jerusalem Biennale 2017. This is a survey of worldwide Jewish contemporary art which takes place every two years in Jerusalem. Homelands was selected from a pool of over 100 applicants for this opportunity to have its voice heard on a prominent world stage. They’re looking forward to the show’s opening night this October in Jerusalem.
From there they hope to travel to multiple venues; They’re seeking support to help bring this show to audiences around the world.
