Cynthia Beth Rubin Honored for the Cultural Heritage Artists Project

Jewish Art Salon member  and Advisor Cynthia Beth Rubin was honored for her groundbreaking work in facilitating CHAP_Cynthiaa cooperative effort of artists and researchers who came together to help save a historic synagogue in New Haven.  The Cultural Heritage Artists Project for the Orchard Street Shul brought together practicing and non-practicing interfaith artists drawn by the echoes of history in this landmark building.  Together they contributed to the rebirth of the Shul. The award by the Orchard Street Shul recognized the importance of this Community Art project in preserving and interpreting history.
