Andi Arnovitz Exhibitions and Acquisitions

The Jewish Museum  in New York  has acquired Andi Arnovitz‘s “What We Bring” for the permanent collection of their new wing, Jewish Identity, Culture and Community.  This work was originally created for the Jerusalem Biennale.

Featuring more than 200 works, Identity, Culture, and Community: Stories from the Collection of the Jewish Museum unfolds across the Museum’s third floor in a thematic and chronologically integrated presentation of its unparalleled holdings. 

“The Trees Saw Everything ” has been acquired for the Knesset’s permanent collection. On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists stormed the Israel-Gaza border and indiscriminately started butchering and massacring young people who were attending the NOVA music festival. Three hundred and sixty four people were slaughtered that morning. Many young women were brutally tied to the trees and then raped and dismembered there. The trees saw everything. There are 364 paper scrolls. The exact number of those murdered.

“Ripples of Venice” a newly opened exhibition at the U Nahon Italian Jewish Museum in Jerusalem, features projects from Beit Venezia in dialogue with masterpieces from the Museum’s collections. Three different projects Arnovitz has worked on are featured. 

At the Augsberg Jewish Museum in Swabia, Germany as part of the “Shalom” exhibition, her print series “RISING”, about Climate Change and rising sea levels.

The Israel Museum in Jerusalem has recently acquired two of Arnovitz’s artist’s books: “ACID” and “Trees of Jerusalem”

Stanford University has acquired five artist’s books:

“12,552 Lunches,” “Silent Witnesses,” “My Counterfeit Israeli Family,” “I’ll Be Magnified and Sanctified” and “The Only Thing Left to do with The Oslo Accords.”
