Call for Synagogue Furniture Artists

An architect is looking to commission synagogue furniture and designs for a New York area synagogue.

He asks for creative, original, modern artists who work in varied media within a Jewish ritual context.

He prefers abstract geometric designs.

Some (but not all) of the items: parochet, ark doors, wall friezes.

Artist(s) will need to work in tandem with the architect.

The Jewish Art Salon (JAS) is a 501.c.3 non-profit organization. It is a global network of contemporary visual artists and art professionals.
