Call for Reviews and Articles

The 70-year old journal CrossCurrents has had a tremendous history of publishing inter-religious work, particularly as it intersects with education, the arts, and social justice.
The journal has added a “cultural connections” section.

CrossCurrents is aiming to include short reviews of art exhibitions, notes on museum projects, as well as film, and other media. They are looking for reviews, as well as full length articles.

The journal is operated through its parent organization, the Association for Public Religion and Intellectual Life (APRIL), an interreligious network of academics, activists, artists, and community leaders seeking to engage the many ways religion meets the public. Contributions to the journal exist at the nexus of religion, education, the arts, and social justice. It’s new editor is S Brent Rodriguez-Plate.

Proposals for potential reviews should be emailed to the two cultural connections editors, Rosalind Hinton and Hussein Rashid, at rosalindhinton@mac.com and hr@husseinrashid.com
