Verklempt!’s first issue (to be published in the Winter of 2022) seeks submissions centered around the theme of ‘Creation’. In Hebrew, the two primary words for creation — יצירה (Yetzirah) and בריאה (Beri’ah) — illuminate the various ways that creation occurs and manifests in our world. We ask readers to contemplate the multitude of meanings that creation can occupy and to submit work related, in some way, to any of them.
