
Altman’s first solo exhibition in Richmond, VA opened September 4 at the Candela Gallery and will remain on view through October 25.
Her new book We Will Return to You has been added to several library collections this summer, including: the Boston Athenaeum, the Cleveland Museum of Art Ingalls Library, the Getty Library, and Princeton University, among others.
Her work was included in Life Still at ADS Warehouse during Upstate Art Weekend. The show explored instability, danger, refuge, and healing, and was included in Hyperallergic’s 10 Upstate Art Weekend Destinations Worth the Trip and The New York Times New York’s Best Summer Art Shows Are Upstate.
Her work was included in the group exhibition Falling Apart Conceptually at Anderson Yezerski Gallery this summer. The exhibition highlighted fragmented parts of lived experience, suggesting the notion that two truths can exist at once. Read the Boston Globe review here.
Her image-installation piece And Everything Nice, which continues to be on view at Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg, Germany until October 26, will next travel to Gewerbemuseum Winterthurin Switzerland for an upcoming exhibition opening on November 28, 2025.
