Over 500 Jewish families lost homes in the Los Angeles fires. A number of LA area synagogues are partnering together on a project called Rebuilding Judaica.
The project is collecting both new and pre-owned Judaica, including items for holidays and life-cycle events such as Shabbat candlesticks, seder plates, kiddush cups, tallis bags, tallit, etc. to donate to families trying to rebuild after losing almost everything in these catastrophic fires.
Imagine you lost your home and virtually all of your belongings in it, including every wedding gift, family heirloom, sentimental travel souvenir, treasured art project the kids made at school, etc. How great of an opportunity to help out another family, show them the community cares about them
