Watershed Moments NYC opens June 6 at the JCC Manhattan

Watershed Moments NYC – Select Works from The Jerusalem Biennale has an opening reception Thursday June 6, 7:30-9pm

Venue: The Laurie M. Tisch Gallery at the JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street. Free and open to the public.

Yehudis Barmatz will be showing her video “Let it Burn“, which she exhibited with the Jewish Art Salon in”Jerusalem Between Heaven and Earth” at the 2017 Biennale. This JAS exhibit was curated by Ori Z. Soltes, and organized by Yona Verwer and Goldie Gross. The exhibit traveled afterwards to the Derfner Judaica museum in Riverdale, NY in a slightly edited form, and was organized by Susan Chevlowe.

Participating artists: Lili Almog, Yehudis Barmatz, Marcelle Tehila Bitton, Matan Ben-Tolila, Rachel Koskas, Eliad Landau, Tamar Paley, Avner Sher and Arik Weiss. Curator: Ram Ozeri.

The Laurie M. Tisch Gallery is open Mon–Thu, 5:30 am–10:30 pm, Fri, 5:30 am–9:30 pm, Sat and Sun, 7 am–9:30 pm.

The exhibit is on view  from until August 14, 2019.

The gallery is located in the lobby of Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street, NYC.
