This culmination of the Yeshiva University Israelite Samaritans Project features a special first viewing and discussion of the documentary film with Filmmaker Moshe Alafi, Dr. Steven Fine, Director, YU Center for Israel Studies and Dr. Erica Brown, Director, Sacks-Herenstein Center for Values and Leadership.

Book launches for The Samaritans: A Biblical People (Brill and YU Press, 2022) and The Samaritan Cookbook (Wipf and Stock, 2021).

The Israelite Samaritans exhibition was curated by Dr. Steven Fine and Jesse Abelman, with assistant curator David Selis.

Special exhibit of Jewish Artists Encounter Samaritan Culture, a joint project with the YU Center for Israel2:00-3:00pm.

The Jewish Art Salon is excited to partner with The Israelite Samaritans Project of the Yeshiva University Center for Israel Studies in the creation of a unique exhibition, The Samaritans: A Biblical People, which explores the Samaritans, their complex culture and religion, and their relationships with Jews, Christians and Muslims across time.

Jewish Art Salon artists, Americans and Israelis, studied the history of the Jewish-Samaritan relationship and created art for this exhibition.
