2019 Conney Conference Call for Papers and Proposals

The 7th biennial Conney Conference on Jewish Arts, a project of the UW Madison Center for Jewish Studies will take place this year at the 92Y in New York.

Conference dates: Sunday March 31-Wednesday, April 3

Registration and Reception: Sun. Mar. 31 (time TBA)

This year’s conference will be held at the historic 92Y in New York City, celebrating 15 years since the founding of The Conney Project on the Jewish Arts at the UW Madison Center for Jewish Studies.  The 2019 conference will be framed within the historical context of the 92Y, and will address the practices, histories and current state of the Jewish Arts across a diverse spectrum of genres and experience.
