The Jewish Cultural Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee invites you to send work for consideration in an upcoming exhibit titled Bridge:
A bridge can cross over water. A bridge can connect two ideas or words. A bridge can be for people,
animals, thoughts. A bridge can take you to a different place. A bridge can install hope, and fear.
Think out of the box.
The work does not need to be recent, but must be original to the artist submitting, or can be on loan from a collector. All media, except video, will be considered.
The piece(s) you submit for consideration in the exhibit can hang on the wall, be pedestal-based. However, due to the nature of the gallery area we will need to know the installation requirements of each piece. If the size of the art work is over 48 inches in length or height, or weighs more than 100 lbs….please make sure we know. Small installation pieces will be considered. All 2-d work will be installed on a hanging system and must be ready to hang. No piece can be secured on the wall with nails, screws or similar devices. All selected work must be ready to install.
Your work may be for sale or on loan. The Jewish Federation does not take commission on sales from exhibits and does carry insurance on all work exhibited at the Center. The purpose of our gallery is to create conversations in the community. The exhibit will be mounted at the Jewish Cultural Center, 5461 North Terrace Road, Chattanooga.
We anticipate that 1,000 people will see the exhibit.
Application: Please send jpegs of up to 4 pieces and list your materials and the size of the piece(s) no later than September 1, 2026. Make sure your images are clear as they may be used for promotion of the exhibit.

We will select the work for the exhibit by September 4, with notices going out within the next week. The inventory sheet needs to have the sale price and if NFS clearly stating the insurance value. Please send only WORD documents since we use a specific label format.
