A well-respected Jewish scholarly publication tasked the Jewish Art Salon with finding images for their Fall covers. The issues will appear both in print and online.
Artists will receive a small honorarium and will be mentioned on their website, with a link to the artist’s website or photo page.
- The November issue is focusing on Ally-ship: Hillel’s If I am only for myself, who am I? What are the questions we ask of partners? Do we need to agree on everything? Who are we if we step back from relationships with allies?
- December focuses on “panim el panim” – how we live, love, and work face-to-face with others.
HOW TO APPLY:
Images must be high enough resolution for print.
- Email images to: jasexhibits@gmail.com
- Subject line: your name + “November” or “December” , depending on which month you are submitting for.
- Save your name in the files, e.g. F.Schwartz1.jpeg, F.Schwartz2.jpeg (or add the title of your piece to your name. In any case your name should be there)
- Deadline for submissions Wednesday July 11, 11:59am EST.
We will forward these to the editor, who will get back directly to selected artists.
