The Jewish Art Salon is collaborating with the Jewish Artists Initiative of Southern California in an exchange exhibit.
Title of the exhibition: Dimensions of Spirituality – Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.
The J.A.S. will exhibit in Los Angeles Fall 2016. The J.A.I. will exhibit in Manhattan in 2017.
Curators for the J.A.S. exhibit: Richard McBee and Aimee Rubensteen.
ELIGIBILITY:
Current Jewish Art Salon members
THEME, VENUE, SIZE:
Size: maximum 24”w x 30”h
Theme: Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur or Sukkot.
Venue: USC Hillel Art Gallery, Los Angeles, CA.
The JAS exhibit will feature 16 artworks; 2 dimensional works only: paintings, graphics, drawing, photography (wall mounted only). All works must be ready to hang. Works on paper or board must have a wire or hook in the back.
Artwork will be shipped both ways and insured for transportation at artist’s expense.
Exhibition will be installed, insured, and advertised at host organization’s expense.
TIMELINE:
Application submission deadline: June 8, 2016.
Acceptance: June 23, 2016.
Artwork arrive at USC Hillel: No later than August 1, 2016
Exhibition: August 12 – November 2016.
