The Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography 2025 will be presented for the ninth time
this year, recognizing a cohesive body of work that exemplifies excellence in photographic practice. An independent jury will identify 20 finalists, whose work will be showcased in a group exhibition at the International Photography Festival in Tel Aviv in November 2025.
The jury’s evaluation will focus on the originality and quality of the submissions, with particular attention paid to work demonstrating the potential for development into a compelling solo exhibition.
The award winner, to be announced in November during the festival, will receive a $14,000 grant to present a solo exhibition at the following year’s photography festival.
Registration Schedule:
Early Registration: May 20, 2025 – June 2, 2025, fee: $35.
Late Registration: June 3, 2025 – June 30, 2025, fee: $45.
