On June 1st at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem David Sperber participated in a Scholarship Ceremony.
Sperber won Israel’s prestigious Rotenstreich Fellowship for Outstanding Doctoral Students in the Humanities.
He spoke about the art of Helene Aylon, and the importance of art.

In 2015 Sperber, along with Dvora Liss, curated New York / New Work: Contemporary Art From NYC, the Jewish Art Salon’s exhibition at the Jerusalem Biennale for Contemporary Jewish Art. The exhibit featured, amongst others, work by Helene Aylon.
