HIPSTERS & HASSIDS is a series of paintings juxtaposing two quintessential Brooklyn communities, presenting their similarities despite their obvious differences. These two groups intrigued Elke Reva Sudin, who, as both an artist and a religious Jew, often finds herself caught between them.
