This past April 10, 2015, videographer Kelly Spivey premiered her 25 minute
NYSCA sponsored film, “The Liberation of Helene Aylon” at the
Iowa City International Documentary Film Festival.
“The Liberation of Helène Aylon” is an intimate film portrait that explores how a woman raised in an Orthodox community became a radical feminist conceptual artist, commandeering a monumental cross-country trip to “rescue” nuclear contaminated earth.

(The exhibit Matronita in the Ein Harod Museum, Israel, featured both artists.)
Moment also published Judy Chicago’s reply, which was Aylon’s installation, The Liberation of G-D.
