Ilana Burstein Benson is Director of Museum Education at Yeshiva University Museum in the Center for Jewish History and has served as adjunct professor of museum education at Stern College for Women.
She designs and implements museum programs for adults, student groups, families, and individuals with special needs, and has presented at educational conferences, including Capacities for Imaginative Learning in the Museum Setting for The Leadership Institute, and Hands-on-History: An Experiential Approach to Social Studies for The Jewish Education Project. She is also the Education Consultant for the upcoming exhibition Samaritans: A Biblical People.
Yeshiva University Museum has exhibited the work of Jewish Art Salon artists for many years and has hosted exciting hands-on workshops that they have presented.
