About Muse

Muse was founded in 2024. After working as an artist for over 15 years in cities around the world, Lenore Mizrachi-Cohen was inspired to create an accessible creative space for the South Brooklyn community. Born and raised in Midwood, Lenore often noticed the disconnect between the number of artists who live there versus the lack of local creative space. Investing in creative pursuits while maintaining balance in the personal sphere is challenging for anyone, but a real barrier is presented without a place for the local artist community to coalesce around. Muse is here to help artists integrate their work and personal life. It can change this metric and encourage artists in our community to concretely pursue their ideas, create connections and enjoy interacting with a space that’s tailored to their needs.
