Laurie Wohl’s “Birds of Longing: Exile and Memory”

Wohl’s traveling exhibit is now at the Patio Gallery, Louisville JCC, until February 24, 2015.

Spiritual texts and poetry of the three Abrahamic religions from the period of the Convivencia in Spain are interwoven with texts by contemporary Middle Eastern poets in the context of Wohl’s Unweavings® fiber art pieces.

Patio Gallery exhibit hours: M-Th 8:30 am-9 pm, Fri 8:30 am-7 pm, Sun 9 am-6 pm, closed Saturdays.
