Born in 1954, and based in White Plains, NY, Lea is a graduate of the Art Academy Ramat- Hasharon, Israel

Weinberg has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows in Tel Aviv, Israel; Manhattan,NY; Beacon, NY; Atlanta, Georgia.

Lea has received awards and prizes including “Best of 2012” top five winners Women’s Caucus for Art, 2012

Featured Artists Top three Manhattan Arts International, 2012, Best in Sculpture & Award of Merit Online Gallery- Manhattan Arts International 2010 & 2009

First Place in Sculpture – Westchester’s Beaux Arts Finale 2007, Mamaroneck Artist’s Guild 2007& 2006, Industry Award Sculptural Pursuit magazine, Fall 2007
