Tobi Kahn, Jewish Art Salon member & advisor, and Artist in Residence at Kivunim, recently facilitated an earth project with his students in Israel.
“After looking at earthworks by the artists Andy Goldsworthy, Richard Long and Robert Smithson, the Kivunim participants broke up into groups and created their own earthworks project in Jerusalem this past month… I am thrilled to share some of their installations,” Kahn writes.
Kivunim’s mission is to inspire its students to forge a lifelong relationship with Israel and the Jewish People through its travels across the world – gaining understanding of Jewish life and history together with that of the many cultures, religions and world-views amongst whom the Jewish people grew in its 2000 year Diaspora.
