Join us at the Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art at our exhibition Fallout – October 7th and the New Antisemitism on Thursday, December 11, at 6:00 p.m.
6:00 p.m: A walk through the exhibit.
6:15 p.m: Curatorial discussion featuring Jewish Art Salon artists, and curators of this exhibition, Yona Verwer, Richard McBee and Joel Silverstein, reflecting on the creation of this exhibition and the experience of shaping this work as events unfolded in Israel over the past two years.
We are also thrilled to present the latest book by Matthew Baigell, Heritage: Jewish Artists in America since 1900, which chronicles a century of extraordinary artistic achievement. An impressive 23 of our own talented members are featured among these pioneering artists, and The Salon itself receives a well-deserved mention!
This discussion, moderated by Ruth Fine, former curator at the National Gallery, is open to the community; register by email to rswitzenbaum@gmail.com
6:30 p.m: Festive Latke & Vodka reception with live music, fresh latkes, a silent auction, and delicious cuisine (not kosher). $95/person. Register at bit.ly/latkevodka2025
