Cynthia Beth Rubin will be discussing her retrospective exhibition Sensing Connections at a luncheon reception on March 5 at BEKI in New Haven, Connecticut. The exhibition in the BEKI Art Gallery is on view through the end of March, by appointment only.
In her current work, Rubin creatively draws upon both the tradition of Hebrew manuscripts and the beauty of the unseen elements in our natural world, including microscopic plankton and the newly discovered strs in the galaxy. She is current artist in residence at the Menden-Deuer lab in the School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Art Salon.
Jewish Art Salon members are invited to attend. Rsvp requested by February 26, but accepted until March 1. RSVP form: https://forms.gle/LbfRgKY29FAkKf9E9
