The Jewish Music Café @ CKI in Brooklyn presents THE ANDY STATMAN TRIO
Plus a short film “ART IN HEAVEN” by filmmaker Zvi Rosenfeld, with a live improvised soundtrack by ELIE MASSIAS and Pedro Cortejosa.
Art in Heaven weaves archival and personal footage and images gathered by Rosenfeld while photographing iconic abandoned synagogues of Europe into a tribute to the creativity of the artisans who decorated the continent with these unique prayer houses, many now in ruins.
