David Sperber at the World Congress of Jewish Studies

The Seventeenth World Congress of Jewish Studies will take place from August 6 to 10, 2017 at the Mount Scopus Campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

David Sperber’s lecture for the conference (8/8/2017) is titled “Mikva Dreams: The Jewish Feminist Art of Mierle Laderman Ukeles in the United States during the 1970s and the 1980s”.

Earlier that day Sperber is also chair person of “Intersecting Identities: Gender, Ethnicity, Class, Religion and History in Contemporary Art of Israeli Women”.
