Goldie Gross is Associate Director of Exhibitions at the Jewish Art Salon and a member of it’s Executive Board.

For the Salon, Goldie  has curated amongst others Natural Instincts, Invisible Jew, and co-curated POW!!! Jewish Comic Art and Influence, an art exhibit in conjunction with Jewish Comic Con, and Convivio: Jews, Hispanics, and the Comics. 

She is co-curator of Spinoza: Marrano of Reason, a 2019 J.A.S. exhibit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

She co-produced the Jewish Art Salon’s exhibition Jerusalem Between Heaven And Earth at the Jerusalem Biennale 2017, curated by Ori Z. Soltes. She curated Sukkahwood at Inwood Hill Park, and she co-curated Art & Identity at Tzohar Seminary for Chassidus and the Arts.

She implemented a juried student membership at the Jewish Art Salon, several of whom are already actively participating in our programs.

She graduated Baruch College with a Bachelors Degree in Art and Business, and obtained a Masters Degree in art history at New York University. She currently works as an art researcher at Phillips Auction House, NYC.

The Baruch Committee on Undergraduate Honors awarded her the Kanner Prize  for an outstanding honors thesis on the Communist Yiddish periodical Der Hammer. She presented the thesis earlier this year at the Conference of the College Art Association.

She published several articles for Baruch College: A look into Baruch’s art collection: Robert Longo and Cindy Sherman. Christo, Jeanne-Claude, and Jannis Kounellis. Illuminated Haggadahs, from the Middle Ages until Now. In Spite of You, We Live On: A Commemorative Painting.
